Hellfire Club Erotique Box Set #Excerpt 3 from Aycliff's Vow

I'm releasing my Hellfire Club series as a box set on April 7 and thought I'd  post a short excerpt from each story before then. This is from Aycliff's Vow: A Hellfire Club Erotique.

If he lost control, he doubted he’d ever get it back. He’d not have the wherewithal to discover Dervin, to continue to prove Darton’s innocence. To continue his search for her.
Now he returned to his window and looked over the gardens. Despite the restraint he struggled to maintain, he could hear Elizabeth’s soft laugh, how it turned to gasps of pleasures when they made love. The feel of her skin beneath his fingertips when he touched her, the press of her body against his.
And try as he might, Callum could not block out her cries of release when she climaxed.
Callum didn’t lash out against the window panes but struggled to not drown in the sea of emotion threatening to overwhelm him.
He’d met Elizabeth in Bath and had never enjoyed another’s company as he had hers. Before she left to return to her father’s house in London, Callum had vowed to marry her. He hadn’t much cared what his father thought of the match, but Elizabeth was from a prosperous family, well connected and respected. That had been enough.
Yes, it had been enough, for both his father and Elizabeth’s. The families had aligned well, and the excitement over the impending nuptials had been the talk of the ton. Until that one damnable day. That day lived in his memory as clearly as anything had.
Callum had just finished redressing Elizabeth, and he remembered how they’d laughed over his newfound proficiency with women’s clothing. They’d shared an afternoon of pleasure before Callum had needed to leave to meet with several business interests and review the estate books. The maid had rushed into the room, not even bothering to knock.

Look for the box set with The Escape (m/m/f), The Masque (m/m/f), Aycliff's Vow (m/f), and Devil's Pawn (m/m) on April 7!

Friday Recipe: Slow Cooker Chicken Tinga

I changed this Slow Cooker Chicken Tinga a little because to me the purpose of a crock-pot recipe is to ignore it until the meal is finished. So I cut my chicken into smaller pieces and didn't shred it. May defeat the purpose of (or my understanding of) Tinga, but I use my crock-pot for when I'm not home so I have a ready made meal when I do get home!

It also makes me think of alternatives, such as just adding chili powder and red pepper. I'll have to play around with it.

Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: 2 Hours 45 Minutes
Ready In: 3 Hours
Servings: 18
Ingredients:
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast
halves
1 onion, chopped
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (7 ounce) can chipotle chile peppers in
adobo sauce, chopped and seeded
2 fresh jalapeno peppers, seeded and
chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground oregano
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
3/4 (1 pound) chorizo sausage
Directions:
1. Mix chicken, onion, tomato sauce, chipotle chile peppers in adobo sauce, jalapeno peppers, garlic, oregano, cumin, chili powder, and red pepper flakes in a slow cooker.
2. Cook on Low until chicken is no longer pink in the center, 2 to 3 hours. Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred using 2 forks; return to the slow cooker.
3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir chorizo sausage in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 10 minutes; drain and discard grease. Stir chorizo into chicken mixture.
4. Cook on Low for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  • From the original poster: Cooking times are approximate. My large slow cooker cooks very fast and the chicken only takes 2 hours. Your cooking time may vary.

#BookBlast Intimate Desires by @CelesteCarrara

Celeste Carrara grew up in New York City where she spent her days exploring all of its amazing treasures. Her writing started as a teen when she turned her heartache into poetry. From then on, she found a love for reading romance novels as well as books in other genres such as paranormal, mystery, poetry, thrillers and more. Celeste never dreamed that one day she would be lucky enough to become a full-time writer.

After having a dream that she couldn’t get out of her head, Celeste decided to put that story on paper. She was amazed at how fast her pen flew with the help of her characters leading the way. The result was book one in her Paranormal City series, Give Me Forever. A paranormal erotic romance based in her favorite city, New York.

Celeste has been on an amazing journey and has self published four additional books in her series. Recently, she tried her hand on new genres that produced two novellas, an erotic romance and a new adult contemporary romance. She spends her days writing in her office in her home in New York that she shares with her husband, and their two children. She has no plans on stopping and is currently working on the next novel in her Paranormal City series.

It was supposed to be one night of pleasure. Mark soon realizes he can’t get enough of his landlord, Stephanie. He doesn’t care about their age difference, or what others will say. *This novella contains explicit sexual encounters, which include ménage and group sex. 18 and over only.

Excerpt:

They showered and held each other, naked in her bed. It felt so good to be with a man that way again. Until then, she hadn’t realized how much she truly missed a man’s arms around her, and the feeling of safety and security it provided. The way he nuzzled into her neck as he held her, the way his breath tickled her ear, the way his leg dragged her close to him as he cuddled into her. He cared for her. She could feel it. A year ago, it would’ve overwhelmed her. She hadn’t been ready then, but Stephanie was ready now. She had ignored the need in her for too long. She let herself get caught up in her losses and neglected her basic needs. She wanted Mark. Plenty of women dated younger men, why not her?

“Goodnight, beautiful, and thank you for an unbelievable night.”

“Goodnight Mark, and thank you for giving me exactly what I needed.”

He smiled at her and kissed her lips and watched her until sleep took over.
