Wednesday Curves: Christmas Curvy

They're finally playing Christmas music on the radio! I love Christmas music. I know people don't, but it's some of my favorite music ever. I also love reading Christmas stories as well. Not so much the feel good stories, but romance that take place during Christmas. With snow and songs and decorations.

Laura Dixon doesn't leap. She planned her life and career the way she wanted them to go. And does her best to ignore her family's advice on how to lose weight and catch a man. Mount Noel is her first major project with Gideon International Hotels and the Christmas themed hotel fits her perfectly, after all Christmas was her favorite holiday!

Maybe it was the ice skating or the Christmas music, or possibly the hot chocolate, that finally made her say yes when smart, handsome, and totally out of her league Tyler Kamari asked her out. Whatever it was, it was the right recipe for the holidays! Their entire time is a fantasy for her, a fantasy that makes crazy ideas sound perfectly reasonable. But when they leap ahead into something more than a fantasy can Laura accept that it was more?

This is a 38,000 word m/f story with explicit sex scenes, copious amounts of holiday cheer, and a curvy girl’s Christmas to remember.

Wednesday Curves: Princess Curvy

This Curvy Girls story is different than the previous four in the series. Princess Curvy has a bit of suspense. Adam is following a lead and Natalia gets caught up in it.I really enjoyed writing the suspense angle here, it's different from what I've written but lighter than most romantic suspense stories I've read.

I hope you enjoy Princess Curvy: A Curvy Girl's Italian Affair!

Natalia Dolcini had dusted off an old Italian title to launch her fashion line—Princapessa Natalia for curvy women. A line that made women look sexy, young, and gorgeous. And she loved every minute creating it. She led a charmed life in Milan and knew it.

Until Adam Clayworth waltzed into her life. Infuriatingly handsome, the sexy banker had an old-fashioned charm to him Natalia found hard to resist. So she didn’t. When he asked her for an introduction, she was more than happy to comply—only for it to end in shouts and accusations. Her temper got the best of her when she promptly threw Adam out of her house.

What she hadn’t expected was for that night to bring her into a banking intrigue Adam investigated. Or for Adam to become her lover. But then Adam’s investigation turns dangerous.

Natalia finds it difficult to keep her own heart safe as they race from Milan to Portofino and back again. Will their Italian affair end after the danger does? Or will it be an affair to remember?

Read an excerpt:
“There’s a man in the retail shop asking if you’re available.” Violet set a drink in front of her. “He’s tall and handsome,” she added with a wink. “And if you don’t want him…”

Natalia frowned and sipped her iced coffee. “What’s his name?”
“Oh.” Violet smiled. “Mr. Clayworth. And he speaks proper English!”
She already knew that; she’d spent considerable time with him last evening. No, not as much as she wanted, but that man’s voice was deep and rich as sin and did all sorts of things to her insides.
“Send him up,” she said instead.
Half expecting Violet to accompany him back into the showroom, Natalia was surprised to see Adam walk in alone. Dressed in a charcoal gray suit instead of the black tie from last night, she was pleased to see he looked just as delicious in a suit as a tuxedo. The blue shirt against his dark hair and eyes did things to her.
“I truly never expected to lay eyes on you again,” she admitted. Standing from her desk, she debated crossing the room and shaking his hand. After that kiss? A simple handshake wasn’t going to happen.
Instead she leaned her hip against her desk and rested her hands behind her. The lavender pencil skirt hugged her curves perfectly, if she did say so herself, and the heels lent her just the right height to lean comfortably against the desk. The cream-colored top, chiffon over a tank top, hung off one shoulder and naturally drew the eye to her generous breasts.
Natalia was pleased to see Adam was not immune.
“I hope it’s not an unpleasant, or unwelcomed, surprise,” he said and stepped farther into the room. “After all,” he continued, his stance casual as he shifted on his heels, “you did leave Milan memorable.”
A tingle of pleasure started low in her belly and spread warmly through her. Keeping her voice professional, Natalia raised an eyebrow. “How can I help you, Mr. Clayworth?”
“While I’d love to say I’m here only to see you and ask you to lunch,” he said then added, “which I am. I’m also here to ask a favor.”

Princess Curvy: A Curvy Girl's Italian Affair

I had hoped to have this ready for sale early this month, but the Holidays got the best of me! New sale date: January 7, 2015. I'll post pre-order links as soon as I have them.

This is a 35,000 word Curvy Girl story with a fiery Italian designer and an Englishman entirely too sexy to be a banker.

#Excerpt Princess Curvy: A Curvy Girl's Italian Affair

Chapter One

Milan, Italy

“Vestito sexy o modesto?” Natalia Dolcini wrinkled her nose in distaste and glared at the two dresses in front of her.
She rarely did modest. What was the point? But this was a stuffy event and most likely mind-numbingly dull if the name of the dinner was anything to go by. After all, nothing screamed tedious like the European Financiers’ Annual Banquet.
Lips pursed, hands on her hips, she tapped her fingers along her generous curves and tried to decide which to wear. Looking over her shoulder at her housekeeper, Carlotta, Natalia silently asked her opinion.
Carlotta pointed to the modest dress. “It would be a change—”
“Damn!” she cursed. “We must remember to speak in English.”
Carlotta snorted, “Why must we speak in a foreign language?”
“I told you, Carlotta,” Natalia said and returned her attention back to the dresses. “I’m making everyone at the shop speak in English. It’s my rule since I have everyone from New York to the moon working with me,” Natalia added with a wild flourish of her hands.
“The one language they can all speak is English.” She paused and added with another laugh. “Even the green headed Martians. So I must make sure mine is good and yours, too!”
Natalia laughed and curled a lock of dark hair around her finger. “And have I told you how amusing it is to see Gina and Violet argue over the Queen’s English versus American English?”
“Funny, I’m sure.” Carlotta shrugged with a scowl that clearly said it wasn’t funny. “Now, if you had been home when you were supposed to be,” she added with a cluck of her tongue. “You would have time to try them both on. But late as always.”
“Blame the red cocktail dress at the office.” Natalia rolled her eyes. “Not me.”
“Or should we blame the red cocktail?” Carlotta asked with a suspiciously raised eyebrow.
Natalia rolled her shoulders and turned from the dresses where they hung on porcelain hooks along the wall. The best decision she’d made in this house was to remove that useless little sitting room and fashion this dressing area. A large, floor length mirror covered one wall and happy little birds flitted about the wallpaper that covered the other walls.
Carlotta continued to frown at her, even as Natalia’s mind wandered from her dress choice. She’d never been so happy to hear the house phone ring as right then. Carlotta was a gem, one who often overstepped her bounds, but a gem nonetheless. She’d been with the Dolcini family for ages and considered herself a mother hen, a snarky overbearing mother hen, in Natalia’s opinion. Despite that, Natalia loved her.
As Carlotta answered the phone, Natalia turned back to her dresses.
“Dolcini residenza.” Carlotta paused. “Of course, of course.” Natalia turned to look at her as she held out the phone. “Signora Marquez.”
Short silk robe swirling around her thighs, she continued to eye her dresses and took the phone from Carlotta. “Sabrina!” she said in genuine pleasure, then frowned. “Is anything wrong?”

#NewRelease: Christmas Curvy: A Curvy Girl's Fling

Excerpt:

“Gingerbread cookie, Ms. Dixon?”
Laura looked up at a young woman who carried a tray strapped around her neck. The scent of freshly baked gingerbread suddenly made her stomach growl and Laura immediately agreed. She’d forgotten they were a part of the ice skating experience.
“Thanks,” Kamari said and accepted one, immediately biting into it.
She watched him chew the delicious treat even as she polished off two of the gingerbread men of her own. And damn it, all she could hear was Never eat in front of a man.
Clearing her throat, Laura pushed that thought aside and dusted the crumbs from her gloved fingers. It seemed she did that a lot in the last hour or two—clear her throat to regain some semblance of control over her emotions around this man.
She’d worked with him for months, and she’d turned him down so many times. Why did this feel different? Was it because they’d never gone ice skating together? That made little sense. What did ice skating have to do with her wildly shifting feelings? Was it Christmas? They’d worked on a Christmas hotel, for goodness’ sake.
Laura looked at the gingerbread cookie woman through narrowed eyes. Maybe it was something in the gingerbread.
Maybe she really was losing her mind. Or…oh no. No, this couldn’t be it. Maybe Sabrina was right! Maybe she did need a vacation.
The wind kicked up again and she shivered. Frankly, Laura preferred to blame this change in her feelings for Kamari on the gingerbread. It made everything so much easier.
