Writing Update: Regency series

I didn't meant to drop off and not update anything, but it's been a busy (read: Stressful and Crazy) few weeks!

On the positive writing side, I've finished editing books 1 and 2 of my 4 book Regency series and am heavy into book 3. I hope to release these books once a month starting late summer/early fall. I'd hoped for earlier, but alas...life. It's so unpredictable!

Once I have final covers, I'll post them and of course when I have a release date I'll post that, too!

New thoughts

Or even anything relevant on writing, books, marketing, and the like. I had no idea that when I started this blog I'd have such a difficult time keeping it updated.

Yeah, I can talk about my writing to anyone who'll listen for half a second, which aren't many any more. And yes, I can chat away about current events, baking, cooking, food (a favorite past time) and pretty much whatever else strikes my fancy.

But is that what I should post here? Shouldn't my writing blog be for writing-related stuff? I think so, but now that I look back at what I've posted...or not...I wonder if I should expand my thinking.

Contract!

WOOT! I got my first full-length story contract! This is for that pesky Regency menage, now titled Wickedly Wanton: A Regency Menage Tale.

I'm horrible at this updating thing. I don't seem to have the time to keep up with every one's posts, comments, interests, PLUS my family, writing, day job, and life. Even when I say I'm going to try to be better, that never really happens.

To that end, I did a post for Un:Bound's Ravenous Wednesdays on just that. Juggling.I think it'll go up soon, I know they post every other Wednesday, but will post here (woot! another guaranteed post!) when it is.

Social Networking

I only blog and I have no time for all this online stuff. I don't Twitter, Facebook, Myspace (is that even still around?) or I don't even know what all else is out there. I barely update this blog once a week! I'd like to everyday but I always run out of time and sleep is so important.

How does anyone keep up? Let alone get any writing done. Maybe I should set aside one day a week of writing time and write blogs instead of a chapter. Something to think about at least!
