I read them because, yes, they're fun but there's also (usually) a deeper meaning. Love between 2 women or 2 men then, separately, the man and woman (in any mix) is sexy. And often the love has different degrees, with m/f/f maybe the women are really in love with strong, deep affection for the man. They don't want to lose him.
