#Guest Two for One by @AnnBHarrison

Ann swears she was born with a book in her hands and has never put it down. A lifelong love of reader has finally culminated in achieving her dream of writing...and publication.

She lives in the beautiful Hunter Valley with her own handsome hero of many years. Ann has always loved the ups and downs of life in small communities and she shares this with readers in her rural romances.

Strong sexy heroines with a good dash of sass thrown in feature in her stories. Of course these women need an equally strong hero. Bring on the outback hero and watch the passion ignite.

When not writing Ann enjoys reading, gardening, walking her very large dog Hugo and fighting with her computer.

What is your story's heat level?

I’d say between and 3 and 4, depends on what you are used to. It’s quite graphic and has m/m/f ménage in it.

How do you approach the sex scenes?

Much easier than I used to, lol. I remember the first sex scene I wrote. Locking the door to my office I sat in front of my computer and wrote, struggling a little too. When I finished I walked out and told my DH I felt like a voyeur. Then I went back and edited it. Since then I’ve been okay with it, sex scenes are no longer an issue for me. Nor should they have to begin with, in my mind. It was something I had to deal with and I did.

How do you maintain activity as a writer when sitting at a desk all day?

Me sit at a desk all day? Doesn’t happen! One of my biggest issues with writing is actually gluing my butt to the chair. If there is something else that needs doing, washing, cleaning or watering the garden, I do it. For me to concentrate I have to have everything in its place or I lose focus. A very bad trait.

What is it that you loved about the main characters in your story?

Trace and Ryan are two brothers who have taken on the worst of what life could hand them and made something of themselves. That’s not to say they still don’t have issues because they do, hence the sex auctions they both participate in. But I love a tortured hero and these guys have major hurdles to overcome.

What do you feel is your strongest type of writing? Humor? Angst? Confrontation scenes? Action? Sex? Sensuality? Sweet Romance? And why?

My editor likes the angst, action and sex I write. I don’t really have a preference.

Are you social media savvy? If so what do you suggest for others? If not, why not?

I spend way too much time on social media but my excuse is you need it these days to keep in the loop. Do what works best for you. For me, it’s Facebook with a side of Twitter thrown in for good measure.

What are some things from your life or things you have observed that you've infused into your stories?

In my previous life, I was a small town, small farm girl. That shows in my rural contemporaries, the love of the land and the characters that make it their world.

If you had an unlimited budget, where would you like to visit for story-related research?

Can I say Europe? That would cover a lot of countries which would suit me fine J Old Scotland and England for the atmosphere, Italy for the romance. The list is endless.

Any fun facts about the research for your book?

Let’s just say I have an understanding husband and a vivid imagination.

Finally, tell us a little about your newest release!

Nothing is going Lizzie’s way. Her sex life is unsatisfying, her job sucks and she has more debt than she needs thanks to her loser brother. Against her better judgment, she lets her best friend sign her up to be auctioned off at a high-rolling venue called the Club. Agreeing to a weekend of adventurous sex with a stranger is one thing, but being bought by the brothers who own the Club means Lizzie is up for a weekend beyond her wildest fantasies.

Ryan and Lizzie hit it off, in bed and out, but it’s his quiet brother, Trace, that has her heart pounding and her panties in a twist. But is Lizzie what Trace needs? Having been burned before, will he take a chance on what his heart is telling him or trust his instincts and send her home after their weekend is over?

Excerpt:
Trace watched her walk in and stop, biting her teeth down on her bottom lip.

“Lizzie.”

“Hi.” Her breathless voice sounded seductive and unsure mixed up in one. A rush of heat flew through his blood. She stood in front of him, her eyes downcast clutching her purse in her hands.

Trace lifted a finger and touched her arm, watching her skin prickle with goose bumps. He cupped her chin and lifted her head to look into her eyes. “What’s wrong, Lizzie?”

“N-nothing. I’m fine.” Her eyes were wide and she licked her lips, sending more jolts through his blood right down to his cock.

“Tell me why you’re so nervous. Last night you seemed fine.” He watched her looking away and put pressure on her chin until she met his gaze.

“I’m sorry. I don’t really know.”

“I don’t buy it. Something has happened and I want to know what it is.” He kept his face as blank as he could, determined to find out what was wrong.

“I feel like a slut being delivered like this.” A tremor ran through her skin and he kissed her mouth before the tears he sensed under the surface filled her eyes. She moved under his lips, meeting him as his mouth devoured hers hungrily.
