Weekly Goals #7

Now that I'm into February and week 7 on the calender, I'm wondering if I shouldn't have used a better method numbering my goals. I've never counted the calender by weeks, only days. It's messing me up but I hate to change now.

Last week my sole goal was to write Covet. I accomplished this in spades (what the hell does that mean anyway? I accomplished this so well I now have dozens of shovels? Or a really great hand in poker? So odd.)

So...Covet. This is definitely more plot heavy than my other Regency Ménage Tales and includes a murder mystery that took up more of the story than I'd intended. But then it is a murder and to toss it in the background seemed stupid when it's a significant part of the plot.

This week:

  1. Make sure murder plot works without plot holes

  2. Make sure the murder plot doesn't overtake the romance

Day 3 of the huge Valentine's Day event with 265 authors! The prizes for this week's blog hop from me are:

The Masque: A Hellfire Club Erotique
2 $10 gift cards to either Barnes and Noble or Amazon, whichever the winner prefers.

What do you need to do? Leave a comment about why you love menage romances and what you'd like to see in the stories.

Cupid has surely hit this hop with a golden arrow!

So here’s how the hop goes each of the participating author below is going to run a contest on their blog for the readers to enjoy! So make sure you stop by all the stops on the hop. I know you won’t be disappointed!

Contest starts February 11, 2012 and ends February 14, 2012 at midnight.

  1. Love reading the menage stories that are m/f/m, the men are usually polar opposites, each giving the woman something different in the relationship. They are so protective and caring of the woman, it makes for a great story.

  2. I've read M/F/M and M/M/F menages and enjoyed both, but I prefer M/F/M probably because I imagine myself in the woman's place and getting all of the attention. It's kind of a selfish thing, but that's ok, it's fantasy.

  3. I really enjoy ménage a trois stories because of the dynamics between the three characters. There's so much potential for emotional angst. I prefer MMF groupings because I like to see all three characters fully invested in the relationship.

Good luck with meeting your writing goals this week. :)

  4. Mostly I like how people interact in a menage, there are not only the typical male/female roles in the traditional sense.

Good luck with meeting your writting goals ;)
    Happy Valentine’s Day ^_~

  5. Thanks for participating in the hop. I guess i also like menages because that's one of those fantasies that I doubt I'd ever have realized, but find exciting all the same

  6. I think everyone has a good reason for enjoying a menage story. I love how everyone's answers are just different enough to make me think about why *I* like menage romances. Thanks for commenting everyone! Winners will be announced at the end of the week.

  8. Thanks for being on the Blog Hop! I am enjoying discovering authors that are new to me! My list of TBR books is growing leaps and bounds. Thanks!!
I love the M/F/M menages. What woman doesn't want all the love?!? Not to mention a definite fantasy of my, that I don't think will happen. My hubby doesn't like that idea.

    Thanks
