#CelebratingValentine @readingromance Love is in the air

Valentine's Day...you either love it or hate it. Let's face it, it's now a multi-billion dollar industry and not going away any time soon.

But is it really all about flowers? No! It's about the romance.

What's your favorite? Flowers or dinner out? A quiet night where your honey does the dishes and takes out the trash? Chocolates hidden in your car by your sweetie or that single rose by a secret admirer?

Tell me either your favorite memory or what you wish for for this Valentine's Day!  Leave a comment for a chance to win!

  3. Valentine's day is just another Hallmark Holiday to me, lol. I really don't think I have any memories to share since I don't really celebrate it, lol. I do like flowers though, lots and lots of flowers.

    1. I totally feel the same way! It's soooo commercialized it's ridiculous. Alas. I like flowers, too. :) And chocolate. Always chocolate. Cliched or not, it's a way to win my heart!

  5. I would love a quiet night at home. I am not one for being with crowds, so a nice dinner at home is always good.

  7. It depends on what we've done lately. If we haven't gone out in a while, a nice dinner out. Otherwise, a quiet night in.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  12. I have two favorite Valentine's memories and neither is particularly romantic. 14 years ago I got the results of my amnio telling me that my baby was fine. Then 7 years ago on Valentine's day I found out I was pregnant with my third child.

  19. My favorite memory would have to be one that is coming, because no matter if we do anything or not the fact that we just recently got back together after being divorced for a few years is what will make this a very special Valentine's Day for myself and our son.

  27. I am not a huge fan of Valentine's Day any longer. That could be because I am with the most unromantic man on the earth. Our first Valentine's Day together I got three half dead roses (purchased from Dollar Tree) and also a card about instead of love being in the air there was dander. Seriously! I would much prefer a nice card and a little bag of candy although if an Amazon GC were thrown in, I wouldn't be upset. <3

    Happy Valentine's Day,

My favorite memory is when my mom and dad gave my sister and I a present from my grandmother, who passed away a month before, that was a heart locket with a picture of her in it and she also wrote us a card. I will never forget it!

  35. I've been married to the same wonderful man for 23 years and all my valentines days have been special. We celebrate it either before or after the 14th, so we can relax and enjoy our meal if we go to a restaurant.

  36. I love just being able to spend the day and/or evening with my hubby. It doesn't matter whether that means a quiet day in watching movies and eating home cooked meals or going out to dinner and doing something else. We tend to see movies a lot, though, because we both enjoy them so much!
